Rooted in Place
Based in Jackson Hole, HDLA (formerly Hershberger Design) has spent decades shaping landscapes that feel as though they have always belonged. Every project begins with the land itself. The studio studies each site's natural character, draws on the culture and history of the region, and works hand in hand with clients, architects and builders so that nature, art and architecture speak as one. The results grace some of the valley's most treasured places, from the rejuvenated Jenny Lake to the award-winning Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve, as well as private residences and ranches throughout the Tetons.
